Mayor Villaraigosa's Office in conjunction with the Asian and Pacific Islander (API) American Heritage Month Planning Committee and The Department of Cultural Affairs hosts an annual poster contest sponsored by Wells Fargo. The contest is open to all school aged children grades K-12 in Los Angeles County.
The children have an opportunity to win some great prizes and expand their knowledge of the API culture. This year the children are being asked to create artwork around a person from the API community that "Broke the Mold."
The deadline for submissions is Friday May 4, 2012. We encourage all to participate and enter and look forward to seeing the children's art. All rules for the contest are on the attached flier.
