Annual Fund Drive

The Annual Fund Drive, running through September 30th, provides over two thirds of the funds for Friends of Franklin each year.  These funds go to support all of the great programs that FoF provides:  TAs, art and music programs, classroom technology, field trips and so much more.  Our ambitious goal this year is to raise $200,000.  This money will help offset the cost increases we have seen on some our programs as well as increase our program offerings.

In order to achieve this fundraising goal, we ask families who can to give $1,000 or more per student.  If you are not able to give this amount, please give what you are able.  FoF is only able to provide the support for our school and our students that it does because of the generous contributions and active participation from you.  Your contributions of any amount are critical to our continued success.

While we will primarily focus on fundraising from the immediate families of our students, anyone is welcome and encouraged to contribute; friends, extended family, neighbors, local businesses, anyone! And remember, as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, your contributions to FoF can be tax deductible (please consult your tax professional)!

You can contribute online with a credit card or via cash or check through the school.  We will be sending a donation envelope home with each student for your cash/check donations.  Just send it back to school with them and the teachers will collect these on FoF’s behalf.  You also have the option of making a one-time donation, or pledging a monthly contribution to be charged to your credit card through the year.

Finally, be sure to check with your employer to see if they offer a corporate gift match.  This is an important and often overlooked source of additional funds for our school.
