| Time: | Between 7:40 A.M. and 8:10 A.M. |
| Lead Person | This person is responsible for making sure they have a crew of 4-5 people on their day for 4 weeks. They will arrive by 7:40 A.M. and set out cones and distribute vests, which will be stored in a locked box below Mrs. Netka’s class. We will keep the key in the office. A school bus stops very briefly at the Franklin Gate at 7:45 A.M. to drop off a few students. When the bus leaves you can start the valet parking. The lead person will assign positions and at 8:15 A.M. they will return the traffic cones, vests and key. |
| Crew | One volunteer should stand at the curb by the Franklin Gate to assist children exiting the first car. Additional volunteers will help the 2nd and 3rd cars. Another volunteer needs to be at the Commonwealth gate to assist Kindergartners. Only allow the first 3 cars to let out children. Make sure all children exit on the curb side. The lead person will assign positions and at 8:15 A.M. they will collect and lock up the traffic cones and vests and return the key and vests to the office. Thank-you! |
| Traffic Cones | The cones will be stored and locked up beneath Mrs. All traffic cones go on Franklin Avenue beginning at the Franklin Gate and extending to Hoover. You are making a lane for the car line, so allow enough for the width of one car. Traffic cones should be approximately 10 feet apart. One volunteer should stand at the curb by the Franklin Gate to assist children exiting the first car. Additional volunteers will help the 2nd and 3rd cars. Another volunteer needs to be at the Commonwealth gate to assist Kindergartners. |
